Where to stand

Under the canopy

The Viva Vision light show runs every hour after dark. Time the shot for the show.

Vegas Vic and the Golden Nugget

The cowboy, the Nugget's gold — the two most recognisable downtown backdrops.

Fremont East

Past the canopy: the martini sign, the bars, the murals. Smaller crowds, better street shots.

The Neon Museum (by arrangement)

Photo permits required; we can tell you how it works.

Container Park

Daytime, colourful, the praying mantis.

When

Downtown is a night location. From 8 PM the canopy runs and the neon's on. Daytime works at Fremont East and Container Park.

Good to know

Fremont's pedestrian zone is public. The zip line and the stages have their own rules. Downtown is 15 minutes from the Strip by rideshare — a 60-minute session gives you time to do both.
