The guide

How much does a photographer in Las Vegas actually cost?

Traditional shoots, on-demand sessions, editing, and what a group actually pays per head.

The short answer

A traditional Las Vegas photographer books by the hour or the package — commonly a few hundred dollars an hour with a two-hour minimum, a week or two of lead time, and edited photos back in one to three weeks. An on-demand session through Paparazzi starts at $199 for 30 minutes, $299 for 60 and $399 for 90, booked the same day and delivered to a private gallery. Those are starting prices; the exact number depends on which photographer you choose.

What's in the number

Time on location

The session length is shooting time. Getting to you is on us.

The photos

Roughly 25–40 for 30 minutes, 50–75 for 60, 80–120 for 90 — delivered as shot, full resolution, to a private gallery.

Not included: editing

Photos come to you unedited so they can come fast. Pro editing — retouching, colour, the set for the feed — is an upgrade at checkout.

Not included: venue access

Nightclubs, dayclubs and casino floors don't allow outside photographers. Public spaces, hotel exteriors and your suite are all fine.

Per person, for a group

This is where on-demand wins. The session is one price, and the app lets the group split it.

For a bachelorette of eight, sixty minutes of a real photographer is about the price of one cocktail each.

When a traditional photographer is the right call

Weddings, elopements with a ceremony, and anything that needs a shot list, a second shooter and an edited album. That's a different product and a different price, and there are great ones in Vegas. For a group that wants the night captured well and fast, on-demand is the fit.

Corporate and conventions

Quoted per job, because hours, deliverables and headcounts vary. Send the dates and you'll have a number within the hour.

Questions people actually ask

How much is a photographer for a bachelorette party in Vegas?

Through Paparazzi, from $199 for 30 minutes to $399 for 90, split between the group in the app. Traditional photographers typically charge more with a longer lead time.

Is tipping expected?

Not required. If your photographer was great, you can tip in the app.

Why are the photos unedited?

Speed. Editing takes days; delivering as shot means you get them fast. Editing is an optional upgrade.

Do prices go up on holidays?

Photographer availability sets the price. Big weekends have fewer available slots, so book earlier.
